## Sign up as an agent

An AI agent can open a Nemphi account and workspace for the person it works for, with no browser and no password.

1. Open it: `POST https://api.nemphi.com/v1/auth/agent-signup` with JSON `{"email", "name", "workspace_name", "agent"}`, the owner's email and name, their business's name, and your own product name, which the owner's email shows. `country` (ISO code, default `CO`), `currency` (default `COP`) and `locale` (`es` or `en`) are optional.
2. Keep the key: the 201 answer carries `api_key.secret` once. Send it as `Authorization: Bearer nk_…` to the MCP server or the tools API listed under Developers.
3. Hand it over: tell the owner to open the email Nemphi sent them. Its link works for 7 days; it signs them in, verifies their address and makes the workspace theirs. They then answer a few questions that set how much the agents may do on their own.
4. Set it up: create contacts, products, projects and the rest with tools.
5. Ask before it acts for them: a call that acts outside Nemphi, moves money (email, payments, messages) or changes autonomy, roles or the onboarding answers does not run on your key alone. It answers `202` with `{"status": "pending_approval", "approval": {"id", "tool"}}` (over MCP, the same JSON as a normal result). Show your user what the call will do and ask them. Then relay their answer with the `approvals.decide` tool, `{"approval": "<id>", "approve": true}` or `false`. A yes runs the call with the owner's authority and answers its output; a no drops it. `approvals.pending` lists what still waits. Relay only an answer your user gave you.

Refusals: `409 email_taken` means the address already has an account, so ask its owner to connect you through the MCP server's sign-in or to create an API key under Developers › API keys. `429` means too many signups from your network this hour. `422` names the missing field in `error`.
